1. Global Democracy index:-

The Democracy Index is an index compiled by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), a UK-based company. It intends to measure the state of democracy in 167 countries, of which 166 are sovereign states and 164 are UN member states. The index was first published in 2006, with updates for 2008, 2010 and later years.

2. International Intellectual Property:-

The Global IP Index is released by Global Innovation Policy Center or GIPC of the US Chambers of Commerce. The GIPC Index consists of five key sets of indicators to map the national intellectual property environment for the surveyed countries. India stands at 40th place out of 53 economies in global IP Index 2020.

There are 4 types of intellectual property rights:-patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

3. Global Social Mobility Index:-

Social mobility, movement of individuals, families, or groups through a system of social hierarchy or stratification. Global social mobility is released by the World Economic Forum. In which total 82 countries are included.

4. Climate change performance index:-

The CCPI is an independent monitoring tool of countries’ climate protection performance. It aims to enhance transparency in international climate politics and enables the comparability of climate protection efforts and progress made by individual countries. CCPI released by Germanwatch and NewClimate Institute published together with the Climate Action Network (CAN) is a ranking of the 57 countries (new: Chile) and the EU.

5.Global Gender Gap Index:-

The Global Gender Gap Index examines the gap between men and women across four fundamental categories : Economic Participation and Opportunity, Educational Attainment, Health and Survival and Political Empowerment. This report was first published in 2006 by World Economic Forum. Now this report covers 153 countries.

6. World Press Freedom Index:-

The World Press Freedom Index is an annual ranking of countries on the basis of press freedom to news organizations , journalists, and netizens in the country. This freedom index is published annually by Reporters Without Borders (RWB) since 2002. This report covers 180 countries.

7. Global Competitive Index:-

GCI is defined by the World Economic Forum. It is a set of institutions, policies, and factors that. determine the level of productivity of a country, conditions of public institutions and technical. conditions. Data used in GCI. This report covers 63 countries.

8. Heritage Foundation’s Economics Freedom Index:-

The Index of Economic Freedom is an annual index and ranking created in 1995 by The Heritage Foundation and The Wall Street Journal to measure the degree of economic freedom in the world’s nations. Index of Economic Freedom measures economic freedom of 186 countries based on trade freedom, business freedom, investment freedom, and property rights.

9. Energy Transition Index:-

The Energy Transition Index, a composite score of 40 indicators, benchmarks 115 countries on the current performance of their energy system, and their readiness for transition to a secure, sustainable, affordable, and inclusive future energy system. This index is released by World Economic Forum.

10. Startup Ecosystem Ranking:-

According to the global innovation mapping and research company StartupBlink , which gathers local data of every country to rank their startup ecosystem based on the quality of startups, business environment coupled with the quantity, India has moved down from 17th position in 2019 to 23rd this year out of 100 countries

11. Sustainable Development Goals(SDG):-

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

12. Global Manufacturing Risk Index:-

The annual Global Manufacturing Risk Index (MRI) report was released by the US-based property consultant Cushman & Wakefield, to rank the most suitable locations for global manufacturing among 48 countries in Europe, Americas, and the Asia-Pacific.

13. Henley Password Index:-

The Henley Passport Index was launched in 2006 with the aim of providing a global picture of freedom of travelling. Henley & Partners, the residence and citizenship planning firm has published the Henley Passport Index for 2020.

14. Global Climate Risk Index:-

The Germanwatch institute presented the results of the Global Climate Risk Index 2020 during COP25 in Madrid. According to this analysis, based on the impacts of extreme weather events and the socio-economic losses they cause, Japan, the Philippines and Germany are the most affected places by climate change.

15.World Happiness Report:-

The World Happiness Report ranks 156 countries by how happy their citizens perceive themselves to be. The rankings are based on polling (Gallup World Poll) which looks at six variables: GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity, and absence of corruption.
